14-day Team trial

The workspace owner can choose Start 14-day Team trial in Billing. No card is needed, and each owner can use the trial once. During the trial you get Team features with a trial capacity of 50 standard monitors and 5 seats; a paid Team subscription includes 10 seats. When the trial ends, the workspace moves to Free automatically unless you subscribe.

Upgrade

Choose Preview change to a plan to see what changes, then continue to checkout. You confirm the amount, including any tax, on the payment provider's page before anything is charged. Payments are handled by Stripe; Uptime Tracker does not store card data. To change an existing subscription, use Open billing portal, which shows a prorated invoice preview before you confirm.

Downgrade

Downgrades take effect at the end of the paid period, and they never delete data:

  • Monitors over the new limit are paused, keeping pinned monitors first.
  • Status pages over the limit are archived, not deleted.
  • Seats over the limit are disabled; the owner and oldest memberships keep access.
  • Data is retained, and features return when you upgrade again.

Cancel

To cancel, choose Open billing portal (invoices, payment method, cancel). The subscription stays active until the end of the paid period, then the workspace moves to Free. Cancelling is not deletion: your monitors and history stay. Deleting a workspace is a separate, confirmed action.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Billing shows the date it became past due and how long monitoring continues. After the grace period the workspace follows Free plan limits. No data is deleted, and paying the open invoice restores the plan.

SMS credit

SMS alerts are paid separately from a prepaid wallet. See SMS alerts and prepaid credit.
