Downgrades never delete data
Over-limit monitors are paused, not removed, and resume when you upgrade. Cancelling keeps you on Free.
Budgets, not overages
SMS is prepaid with an optional monthly cap. Status emails and API workflow runs stop at the plan limit rather than billing more.
Pricing questions
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and needs no credit card. It includes 2 monitors at 5-minute intervals, 5 heartbeat monitors, one status page and alerts by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram and webhooks. Commercial use is allowed.
How does the 14-day Team trial work?
Each account owner can start one 14-day trial of the Team plan from the billing page, without a credit card. The trial unlocks Team features with trial capacities of 50 standard monitors and 5 seats. If you do not subscribe, the workspace returns to the Free plan automatically when the trial ends; nothing is charged.
How much do I save with annual billing?
Annual billing costs ten times the monthly price, so you get two months free: Pro is $90 per year instead of $108, and Team is $490 per year instead of $588.
How are SMS alerts priced?
SMS alerts are available on Pro and Team and are paid from prepaid credit, bought as 50, 100 or 250-message packages or as a wallet top-up. The per-message price depends on the destination country and is shown before you buy. There are no surprise overage charges.
Do you charge per user or per alert?
No. Plans are priced per workspace and include seats: 1 on Free, 2 on Pro and 10 on Team, plus 20 read-only guest viewers on Team. Email, chat, push and webhook alerts are not metered.
How many workspaces can I have?
It depends on the best paid plan among the workspaces you own: 1 workspace on Free, up to 2 with Pro and up to 3 with Team. Each workspace has its own plan. Trials do not raise the limit, and if you downgrade, existing workspaces are kept; you just cannot create another until you upgrade again.
What happens if I downgrade or cancel?
Nothing is deleted. Monitors above the new limit are paused (pinned monitors are kept active first), extra status pages are archived and check intervals are raised to the plan minimum. Upgrading again resumes them. Cancelling keeps your workspace on the Free plan.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payments are processed by Stripe, which accepts major credit and debit cards. Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes. You can manage cards, billing details and invoices on your workspace’s Billing page.
I need more than 50 monitors. What are my options?
Team, with 50 monitors and 30-second checks, is the largest self-serve plan today. Larger Business and Enterprise plans are planned.
