Why Uptime Tracker exists
Most outages are discovered by customers. A checkout that silently fails, an expired certificate, a backup job that stopped running weeks ago — each one is cheap to detect and expensive to miss.
Existing tools tend to fall into three camps: very cheap monitors with little help during an incident, incident platforms priced per responder, and synthetic-testing suites billed by execution. We built Uptime Tracker for the space between: fast setup, trustworthy alerts, team collaboration and customer communication at a predictable workspace price.
The result serves two audiences equally well. Individuals get a free, low-maintenance monitor for personal websites, side projects and homelab services. Businesses get 30-second checks, SMS and chat alerts, on-call schedules, escalation and branded status pages without per-seat surprises.

A monitor that cries wolf gets muted. Every failure is re-checked before anyone is paged, recovery is confirmed twice, and errors on our side are shown as “unknown” rather than blamed on your service.
Transparent, predictable pricing
Plans are priced per workspace with seats included. Every limit is published, SMS is prepaid with an optional cap, and downgrades pause rather than delete.
A free plan that is genuinely useful
Monitors, heartbeats, a status page, API access and two-factor sign-in at no cost, and commercial use is allowed — because small projects deserve good monitoring too.
Honesty about what we do
