A status page tells your users whether your services are working, without them having to email you. Uptime Tracker hosts it for you at uptimetracker.live/status/<address>. Free includes 1 status page, Starter 3 and Team 10.

Create the page

Go to Status pages and choose New status page:

  • Name: shown as the page title, for example "Acme status".
  • Address: the last part of the public link. Pick it carefully; it cannot be changed later.
  • Description (optional): up to 500 characters, shown publicly as plain text.
  • Monitors shown: up to 20 monitors per page. Visitors see each monitor's name and current state.

Choose Create status page. New pages are published immediately and visible to anyone with the link.

What visitors see

  • An overall state and the current state of each monitor you added.
  • Uptime history for those monitors.
  • Public incident updates for those monitors, in plain text.
  • A form to subscribe to email updates.

The page refreshes every minute. Internal notes on incidents are never shown; only updates you publish as public appear. Pages show "Powered by Uptime Tracker".

Edit the page

Open the page from the list. Under Content and publication you can change the name and description, untick Published (publicly reachable) to hide it, add monitors with Add a monitor, reorder them with the arrows and remove them. Choose Save changes. Monitor names on the page are the names in your workspace, so give public-facing monitors friendly names such as "Website" or "API".

The Preview section shows a plain-text summary of the live public data. Use View public page for the full view.

Private pages

On Team, the Access control section lets you choose Only people who know the password. Passwords are 10 to 200 characters, and changing the password signs out everyone who unlocked the page. This is useful for client-specific or internal pages.

Plan limits

If you downgrade to a plan with fewer status pages, excess pages are archived rather than deleted. Archived pages are not publicly visible; publishing one again needs a free status-page slot.

Delete a page

At the bottom of the page, Delete this status page removes the page, its custom-domain binding and its subscribers. The public link stops working. This cannot be undone.
